Primary/Children's House

In Primary we have “News time” once a week and on special occasions. The news chair is placed in front of the group. Each child is invited to sit in the chair and share a special piece of news. The rest of the children sit quietly and listen and when the child has finished speaking they can ask questions.

News time allows for self expression, develops the child’s self confidence and is a grace and courtesy lesson as the children have to listen and be respectful of the child who is speaking.
